Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Gaelic language educator to deliver high-quality learning programs for adults, youth, and communities in various locations across the Highland Council area.

Responsibilities
  1. To design and implement engaging learning activities that cater to diverse needs and skill levels.
  2. To work collaboratively with local community groups, schools, and other stakeholders to promote Gaelic language education.
  3. To develop and maintain effective relationships with clients, colleagues, and partners to ensure successful program delivery.
Requirements
  • Essential: Strong understanding of Gaelic language and culture, excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Degree or equivalent experience in education, linguistics, or a related field.
  • Possessing fluency in Gaelic is essential; proficiency in English also required.
