Role Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Energy Settlements Specialist to join our Trading Operations Department. As a key member of our Settlements Team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely settlement of various energy products, including physical gas, power, environmental products, and derivatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with Front Office representatives to support and improve trading systems and workflow processes within Settlements, Finance, and across FO to Settlements.
- Liaise with various teams, including Risk Management, Legal, IT, Finance, Treasury, and Credit, to ensure data integrity and accurate reporting within defined timescales.
- Support the trading desk in counterparty relationships and ensure quality information flows across the business, resolving any disputes that may arise.
- Maintain excellent working relationships with counterparties and other teams within the organisation.
Requirements
- A working knowledge of trading systems, preferably ENDUR.
- Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A concern for accuracy and ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Able to work as part of a team as well as individually.
- Able to work effectively cross-functionally with all areas of the business.
- Dedication to reviewing and improving existing processes.
- Commercially astute with the ability to develop and understand issues.
