Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Energy Settlements Specialist to join our team at SEFE Securing Energy for Europe. As an Energy Settlements Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely production of invoices and payment of LNG and Shipping transactions according to specific contractual terms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor bank accounts to ensure incoming and outgoing funds are timely and respond to bank compliance queries promptly.
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of various general and bespoke contract terms and conditions for LNG and shipping and develop robust validation techniques.
  • Support the trading desk in counterparty relationships and ensure quality information flows across the business, resolving any disputes.
  • Liaise with various teams within the organisation to ensure integrity of data within the trading system and accurate reporting within defined timescales.

Requirements:

  • Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Settlement experience in physical commodities, with LNG or Oil experience being advantageous.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and trading/accounting system, with SAP and ETRM experience preferred.
  • Experience of working with trading counterparties and direct contact with commercial operators and traders.
