Job Description

Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Energy Settlements Specialist to join our Settlements Team within Trading Operations Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely settlement of various energy products, including physical gas, power, environmental products, and derivatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Front Office representatives to support and improve trading systems and workflow processes within Settlements, Finance, and across FO to Settlements.
  • Liaise with various teams, including Risk Management, Legal, IT, Finance, Treasury, and Credit, to ensure data integrity and accurate reporting within defined timescales.
  • Support the trading desk in counterparty relationships and ensure quality information flows across the business, resolving any disputes that may arise.
  • Maintain excellent working relationships with counterparties and other teams within the organisation.

Requirements

  • A working knowledge of trading systems, preferably ENDUR.
  • Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A concern for accuracy and ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Able to work as part of a team as well as individually.
  • Able to work effectively cross-functionally with all areas of the business.
  • Dedication to reviewing and improving existing processes.
  • Commercially astute with the ability to develop and understand issues.
