Project Coordinator for Supported Internship Programme

About the Role
The NHS England board has set out the top-level purpose for the new organisation to lead the NHS in England to deliver high-quality services for all. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Project Coordinator for the Supported Internship Programme.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and monitor individual student's progress and reinforce employability skills by delivering sessions in a classroom setting.
- Deliver bespoke training to mentors and source new employers to provide placements/employment transitions for students.
- Work closely with the Area Manager in delivering the College's outcomes and maintaining an employment transition rate for students at above 75%.
Person Specification
- Essential:
- Educated to degree level in a relevant subject or equivalent level of experience/knowledge from working in a similar area/environment.
- TSI trained with evidence of outcomes or similar experience.
- Experience working with young people with SEN.
- Knowledge of administrative procedures, project management and information analysis.
- Desirable:
- Teaching qualification or relevant experience related to young people with learning disabilities difficulties/Autism.
- Experience in post-16 education and working in a classroom environment.
What We Offer
Colleagues with a contractual office base are expected to spend, on average, at least 40% of their time working in-person. Staff recruited from outside the NHS will usually be appointed at the bottom of the pay band.
