Job Title: Programme Planner

Manchester City Council is seeking a skilled Programme Planner to join our team in Trafford. As a Programme Planner, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of our transformation portfolio.

About the Role

The Programme Planner will be responsible for providing coordination and support to programme and project managers, ensuring effective delivery of business change. This will involve providing a portfolio-wide view on interdependencies, benefits, risk, change, and quality management.

You will work closely with the Head of the PMO and other stakeholders to develop and implement effective programme and project management tools, ensuring business change is well-planned and delivered in line with our project methodology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide coordination and support to programme and project managers
  • Develop and implement effective programme and project management tools
  • Ensure effective delivery of business change
  • Provide a portfolio-wide view on interdependencies, benefits, risk, change, and quality management
  • Work closely with the Head of the PMO and other stakeholders
Requirements

  • Knowledge of project methodologies and change management principles
