Be a Positive Force in Someone's Life
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team at Leonard Cheshire. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting an individual with a learning disability and cerebral palsy.
The service user requires full support with daily life tasks, including personal care, medication, and mealtime assistance. They also require support with finances, health appointments, and community activities. The ideal candidate will have a caring and patient approach, with the ability to communicate effectively with the service user.
Experience as a Care Assistant or Support Worker is desirable but not essential. We offer an excellent training and induction programme for all new staff members.
About the Role
- Assist with daily life tasks, including personal care, medication, and mealtimes.
- Escort and assist in and around the service, at external events and appointments.
- Support the service user to achieve their individual aspirations and goals.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of the service user's progress.

About the Salary
