Female Personal Care Assistant/Support Worker required to assist a person with a Physical and Learning Disability living in Law area.

You would be required to provide one to one care and assistance to transport them and take them out shopping, bowling or on local walks.

Your duties would involve assisting with tasks such as:

- Moving and assisting - pushing manual wheelchair

**Driver essential with the option to use Service Users wheelchair assisted vehicle**
- The role requires close personal contact with an individual who is extremely vulnerable to the risk of infection and disease._

Must take a proactive and innovative approach to support and encourage individual to be involved in activities suited to their needs.

Favourite activities are listening to music and socialising.

Experience is desirable but not essential as training will be provided.

The most important qualities are a warm and friendly nature and a desire to work within a caring role.

Good interpersonal and communication skills are essential.

**Hours of Work (with a degree of flexibility)**

Recruiting for one position.

Guaranteed permanent position of 4.5 hours per week or 9 hours every 2 weeks.

**Days and times**:
Set shifts at set times

Typically - Saturday, Sunday or Monday.

**Hourly rate**:
£10.90
