At Bright Horizons, we're seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Support Professional to join our team. As a Bank Staff member, you'll have the flexibility to work when you want, blending the convenience of Bank / Locum / Agency work with the security and benefits of being an employee.
As a key member of our nursery team, you'll play a vital role in supporting our colleagues in delivering the EYFS, engaging children in entertaining and educational play and activities, and ensuring their safety throughout the day.
We're looking for someone with a passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child. If you have previous experience working with children, such as a Nursery Assistant or Teaching Assistant, that's a bonus, but not essential.
Our benefits include above industry standard salary, discounted childcare, Smart Health access, and a huge variety of discounts across high street brands, utilities, and days out. Plus, you'll have access to our development programme, tailored to your individual journey, with opportunities across our network of nurseries.
So, if you're looking for a flexible working role where you can have fun, be creative, and help to develop little minds, we'd love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Nursery colleagues with their delivery of the EYFS
- Engage children in entertaining and educational play and activities
- Ensure child welfare, protection, health and safety and safeguarding
- Work with colleagues to maintain a positive, happy and safe environment
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience working with children (ideal but not essential)
- Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child
- Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults
- Sound understanding of child protection and the safeguarding of children
- Ability to be flexible and adaptable
