Our Nuffy Bear Day Nursery is on the lookout for a Nursery Nurse/Early Years Practitioner to work within our childcare services.
In your role as an Early Years Practitioner, you will collaborate with a team that provides comprehensive day care, sessional care, and a Pre-School program for children aged from 3 months to 5 years.
As an Early Years Practitioner, your responsibilities will include delivering care and education while promoting health and wellbeing, ensuring that children receive the best possible start in their lives. We are Ofsted registered and follow the Early Years Foundation Stage, offering a unique range of wellbeing-focused care, including swimming lessons for children over 3 years old, making this a remarkable opportunity.
If you take pride in your work, becoming an Early Years Practitioner with us will allow you to learn alongside some of the best professionals in the field. Candidates should hold at least a Level 3 qualification in childcare studies and possess experience equivalent to NVQ Level 3 or NNEB. Your enthusiasm for nursery nursing is what will truly make you a great fit for our team.
Key Responsibilities of an Early Years Practitioner:
- Deliver high-quality care and education while fostering health and wellbeing.
- Support children in achieving the best possible start in life.
- Ensure that learning is tailored to each child's developmental needs.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities.
- Engage with Parents/Carers and collaborate with external professionals.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Must possess a NVQ Level 3 qualification in childcare studies or an equivalent credential.
- Experience in a nursery environment is essential.
- Preferred qualifications in pediatric first aid.
- All applicants will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
