Our Nuffy Bear Day Nursery is looking for a dedicated Early Years Childcare Practitioner to work within our Nuffield Health gym.

In this role, you will collaborate with a team to provide comprehensive care and educational experiences for children aged from 3 months to 5 years, including full day care and sessional care.

As an Early Years Practitioner, your responsibilities will include delivering high-quality care and education, promoting health, and ensuring children receive the best possible start in life. We are Ofsted registered and committed to the Early Years Foundation Stage, offering a unique range of wellbeing-focused care for children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional care and educational experiences while fostering health and wellbeing.
  • Support children in achieving their developmental milestones.
  • Ensure learning activities are tailored to each child's development.
  • Plan engaging and age-appropriate activities.
  • Maintain effective communication with parents, carers, and external professionals.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Qualified to NVQ Level 3 in childcare studies or equivalent.
  • Experience working in a nursery environment.
  • Preferred qualifications in paediatric first aid.
  • All candidates must possess an enhanced DBS check.
