Accounts Assistant

We are seeking a skilled Accounts Assistant to join our team in Welshpool. The successful candidate will have previous experience of working within an accounts environment, with a strong understanding of MS Office software packages including Word and Excel.
The role involves processing invoices and credit notes, resolving queries, and entering payments into the system. Additionally, you will assist with reconciliations of statements and perform ad-hoc accounts/admin duties as required.
Responsibilities- Opening and distributing daily post received within the Purchase Ledger department
- Processing invoices & credit notes
- Entering payments to invoices on the system
- Resolving invoice queries
- Assisting with reconciliation of statements
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- Previous experience of working within an accounts environment
- A strong understanding of MS Office software packages, including Word and Excel
- A good confident telephone manner
