Key Responsibilities
  • Provide rapid assessment and management of acute medical patients.
  • Stabilize and manage patients with medical emergencies, ensuring effective communication and handover to the on-call team.
  • Contribute to the development of emergency services, liaising with other departments and speciality teams.
  • Take part in the weekend General Medical on-call rota, providing leadership and support to colleagues.
Person Specification
  • MBBS or equivalent medical qualification.
  • MRCP Part 1 and Part 2 or equivalent experience.
  • Full Registration and a licence to practise with the General Medical Council.
  • Entry on GMC Specialist Register; eligible for entry on Register or within six months of receipt of Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) or Certificate of Eligibility for Specialist Registration (CESR).
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of £85,000 - £115,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including contributory pension scheme, annual leave entitlement, and opportunities for professional development.
