Als Area Director bei Amazon sorgst Du für die effiziente Leitung des operativen Geschäftsbereichs. Du bist verantwortlich für die Sicherstellung, dass alle Abläufe an Deinem Standort reibungslos funktionieren und die Kundennachfrage erfüllt wird. Du führst ein Team, das für die Sicherheit, Effizienz und Qualität der Betriebsabläufe sorgt.

Hauptherausforderungen
  1. Erstellung und Umsetzung einer Kultur der Sicherheit und des Wohlbefindens
  2. Analyse und Umsetzung von Änderungen, um hohe Qualität und Produktivität zu gewährleisten
  3. Beaufsichtigung von Projekten zur Verschlankung von Prozessen, Optimierung der Produktivität und Verbesserung der Servicequalität
  4. Analyse der Schichten und Umsetzung von Maßnahmen zur Verbesserung der Operational Excellence
  5. Zusammenarbeit mit Kolleg:innen auf Führungsebene, um Schichtverfahren zu vereinheitlichen

Ein typischer Arbeitstag als Area Director bei Amazon kann ganz unterschiedlich aussehen und umfasst sowohl routinemäßiges Teammanagement und tägliche Betriebsaufgaben als auch Prozessverbesserung und weitreichende operative Aufgaben. Du bist ein Vorbild und Mentor für neue Manager:innen und arbeitest eng mit Kolleg:innen zusammen, um gemeinsam Ziele zu erreichen.

Anforderungen
  1. Studienabschluss
  2. Führungserfahrung
  3. Relevante Erfahrung in der Kommunikation mit verschiedenen Stakeholdern
  4. Relevante Erfahrung in der Verwendung von Daten oder anekdotischer Evidenz zur Begründung von geschäftlichen Entscheidungen
  5. Fortgeschrittene Englisch- und Deutschkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift
  6. Erfahrung in der Arbeit mit Lean-, Six-Sigma- und Kaizen-Methoden
  7. Erfahrung mit der Arbeit in einem anderen Logistikumfeld
  8. Erfahrung in der Arbeit mit der MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) im beruflichen Umfeld
