{"About the Role": "As an Area Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team that ensures the smooth operation of our delivery network. You will be responsible for creating and implementing processes to improve efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

* Create and implement a culture of safety and wellbeing
* Analyze and implement changes to improve quality and productivity
* Oversee projects to streamline processes and improve customer service
* Analyze shift performance and implement actions to improve operational excellence
* Collaborate with management-level colleagues to standardize shift practices

A Day in the Life:

You will work on a shift pattern at one of our sites, ensuring it is as productive as possible. Your main focus will be to own and drive a culture of safety and uphold quality and shift performance standards. You will also oversee process improvements within your area and drive implementation.

About the Team:

Amazon Logistics, or AMZL, handles 'last mile' delivery duties in partnership with third-party distribution businesses. We utilize creative thinking and continuous improvement initiatives to get millions of physical products into the hands of our customers. Our goal is to make our customers' delivery experience as smooth as possible and roll out global delivery solutions for our newest concepts, like Amazon Fresh, Prime Now and Amazon Restaurants.

Basic Qualifications:

* A degree
* Relevant experience in people management
* Relevant experience of communicating with a wide range of stakeholders, including your peers and leadership
* Relevant experience in using data or anecdotal evidence to influence business decisions
* Advanced proficiency in verbal and written English and local language

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience working with Lean, Six Sigma and Kaizen techniques
* Experience working in another logistics environment
* Relevant experience working with the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) in a professional environment
