This role involves providing first-line technical support and customer service to users of IT at Nottinghamshire Police. You will be required to provide general advice and guidance on issues impacting customers' use of IT products and services, dealing with customer requests, and solving straightforward problems with mobile devices, handling customer deliveries and collections.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support and customer service to users of IT at Nottinghamshire Police.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience of providing first-line technical support to customers in a service desk environment.
  • General technical knowledge of using and supporting multiple technologies, including PC operating systems, Microsoft Office suite, O365, and specialist software packages such as Active Directory.
  • Experience of supporting IT hardware, including workstations, laptops, mobile phones, and printers.
  • Able to promote a positive and enabling culture that puts the customer at the heart of service delivery.
