Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Area Sales Manager to join our team at Permanent Futures. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for managing and maximizing sales within a designated geographic territory.

Your primary objective will be to develop and implement a territory business plan in support of company goals and objectives. This will involve identifying local business opportunities and challenges, as well as developing and managing sales channels for all products in support of territory goals and objectives.

You will be expected to conduct frequent customer visits, either directly or jointly with channel partners, to present products and services to prospective customers. In addition, you will document and manage sales activity, including customer visits, opportunities, and account information through the use of Salesforce CRM.

This role requires strong knowledge of automation within the food and other FMCG industries, as well as a proven track record selling associated products such as drives, sensors, robots etc into automated manufacturing companies. Results-oriented individuals with excellent communication skills are encouraged to apply.

Estimated salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
