Electrolyte Production Engineer

LiNa Energy is commercialising a safe, high-performance, low-cost, solid-state sodium battery technology for stationary storage and transport applications. As a Sodium Cell Manufacturing Expert, you will play a crucial role in driving our technology to full commercialisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and further develop LiNa's state-of-the-art electrolyte production line, ensuring effective transfer and improvement from the R&D facility
- Work with the R&D team to develop ink formulations and refine these formulations for scaled-up production
- Carry out and refine quality control checks on LiNa's electrolytes to ensure fault-free production
- Collaborate with the manufacturing and quality teams to establish SOPs and process parameters
Requirements:
- 4+ years of industrial experience in material production or material development
- BEng or BSc in Process/Chemical Engineering or Physical Chemistry
- Experience working on semi-automated production lines, preferably with ceramics
Salary: £55,000 - £70,000 per annum, depending on experience. Location: Based at our Head Office in Lancaster, UK.
