Our client, a developer of high-performance solid-state sodium batteries designed to offer safety, sustainability, and lower cost is currently looking to hire a Process Development Engineer. The successful candidate will work in a renewable energy start up through developing meaningful technologies.


The Process Development Engineer will:

  • Work within the manufacturing team to further scale the process from pilot scale to Mega/Giga scale.
  • Understand and adhere to chemical and laboratory work safety principles, operational efficiency, and delivery.
  • Operate, and further develop the organisation’s state of the art electrolyte production responsible managing the quality and throughput of the line.
  • Monitor equipment, communicating the need for upgrades, repairs or other operational issues.
  • Work with the R&D team to develop ink formulations and refine these formulations for scaled up production.


The Process Development Engineer will have:

  • 4+ Years Industrial experience in Material production or Material Development (ideally working with ceramics)
  • BEng or BSc in Process/Chemical Engineering or Physical Chemistry.
  • Experience working in processes require high temperature firing.
  • Yellow Belt + in Lean Six Sigma.
  • Experience working on semi-automated production lines.
