About the Role:

  • This is an exciting opportunity to join our technical team as a Process Development Engineer and drive LiNa's cutting edge, disruptive battery technology to full commercialisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and further develop LiNa's state of the art electrolyte production responsible managing the quality and throughput of the line.
  • Work with the R&D team to develop ink formulations and refine these formulations for scaled up production.
  • Carry out and refine QC of LiNa's electrolytes to ensure no faults forward.
  • Work with the manufacturing and quality team to develop SOPs and process parameters for pilot and future scale up.
  • Understand and adhere to chemical and laboratory work safety principles, operational efficiency, and delivery.
  • Monitor equipment, communicating the need for upgrades, repairs or other operational issues.
  • Work within the manufacturing team to further scale the process from pilot scale to Mega/Giga scale.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary package (£55,000 - £70,000 per annum) including pension contributions and EMI share options.

Requirements:

  • 4+ Years Industrial experience in Material production or Material Development (ideally working with ceramics).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working on semi-automated production lines.
  • Experience working in processes require high temperature firing.
  • BEng or BSc in Process/Chemical Engineering or Physical Chemistry.
  • Yellow Belt + in Lean Six Sigma.
