Role Description:
The Night Shift Production Team Leader will be responsible for leading a team of production operatives, ensuring production schedules are achieved, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to optimise production processes. The successful candidate will have previous experience as a team leader/supervisor in a food production environment and a strong understanding of food safety, quality standards, HACCP, and health and safety regulations. Key responsibilities include:
  • Team lead a team of up to 16 production operatives to ensure production schedules are achieved.
  • Support shift supervisors and implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimise production processes.
  • Conduct spot checks on all processes from mixing to packing finished products.
  • Process documentation for safe product production and full traceability.
  • Set clear performance goals for individual and team development.

Compensation and Benefits:
The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of £24,127 per year (£25,791 with shift allowance) and access to a range of benefits including 16 days annual leave + bank holidays, vouchers on birthdays, BUPA EAP programme, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
