About the Role

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years post-graduate experience in a relevant clinical area and will be responsible for leading, developing, and evaluating critical care and surgical physiotherapy services at QEQM hospital. They will provide therapeutic clinical expertise, high-quality advice, and support to the multidisciplinary team and demonstrate excellent communication and collaborative working skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of clinical standards and protocols in critical care and surgical physiotherapy
  • Provide clinical supervision, appraisal, and teaching to staff members
  • Collaborate with other clinical specialists across the Health Economy to provide a high-quality, efficient service
  • Ensure clinical governance targets are met, including audit, research, and risk management

Requirements

  • BSc Physiotherapy or equivalent qualification
  • HCPC registration and relevant post-graduate training
  • Minimum 5 years post-graduate experience in a relevant clinical area
  • Clinical educator experience and participation in clinical audit

Salary

">

The estimated salary for this role is £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
