Job Overview:We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Records Coordinator to join our team at Ensemble Health Partners. As a key member of our admissions department, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of patient records.
Job Summary:The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for assigning medical records numbers, completing medical necessity checks, and providing instructions to patients.
Responsibilities:- Assign Accurate Medical Records Numbers: Verify patient information and assign correct medical record numbers.
- Complete Medical Necessity Checks: Review patient charts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Provide Patient Instructions: Educate patients on their treatment plans and provide necessary documentation.
- Process Physician Orders: Utilize an overlay tool to process physician orders efficiently.
- Adhere to Policies: Ensure compliance with policies and procedures while providing excellent customer service.
- Customer Service Experience: 1+ year of experience in customer-facing roles.
- Education: High School Diploma/GED required.
- Certification: Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR) certification within 9 months.
$58,000 - $72,000 per year, depending on experience. Comprehensive benefits package, tuition reimbursement, professional certification, quarterly and annual incentive programs.
