About the Job:

We are seeking a highly skilled Deaf Education Support Worker to join our team at Reeson Education. The successful candidate will work closely with teaching staff, students, and families to provide tailored support using British Sign Language (BSL) skills to facilitate communication and learning.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Support students with hearing impairments in the classroom and beyond.
  • Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) to meet student needs.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive school environment.
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
  • BSL Level 3 qualification
  • Experience working with children or young people, preferably in a school setting.
  • Familiarity with SEN policies and procedures.
