About the Role

We are seeking a talented Communications Systems Specialist to join our team in the Platform Complex Systems Delivery group.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing internal communications technology and concepts, collaborating with colleagues within the Integrated Combat Systems business, wider stakeholders, suppliers, and the Royal Navy.

This role requires a high level of technical expertise, particularly in system or equipment design in internal communications systems, as well as experience in defining and associated acceptance criteria and events through design, build, integration, installation, and commissioning activities.

The ideal candidate will have a relevant Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) degree or equivalent qualification and experience within an engineering background, as well as technical report writing skills and experience in requirements definition and management.

As a Communications Systems Specialist, you will work closely with the design team to deliver technical input and engineering solutions in support of build activities, defect resolution, and change management.

You will also be responsible for reviewing relevant supplier documentation, providing technical support to integrated performance and acceptance activities, and ensuring the accurate capture and recording of information.
