Logistics Internal Sales Executive Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Logistics Internal Sales Executive to join our client, a UK Freight and Logistics company based in North Yorkshire.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Proactively build relationships with existing clients to nurture and maximise business potential.
  • Generate and calculate freight quotations and tender documents.
  • Draft and send sales correspondence.
  • Follow up calls to ensure timely closure of sales.
  • Manage sales process through to completion.
  • Ensure quotes are completed promptly and followed up to maximise conversion.
  • Client visiting as required.
Requirements:
  • Confident communication skills - both verbal and written.
  • Sales or customer service experience.
  • Freight forwarding or export sales experience would be an advantage.
  • Proven success in calculating and submitting quotes and tender submissions.
  • Experience of negotiating with clients and suppliers.
  • Key account management experience with proven success in developing relationships.
  • Good analytical and numeracy skills.
  • Good administrative skills, including MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Professional attitude when representing the company.

We're looking for enthusiastic individuals with a positive and engaging personality, a 'can do' attitude, and a customer service-oriented ethic by nature, with experience working as a BDM or Account Manager.

The successful Logistics Internal Sales Executive can expect to earn in the region of £25k + commission, reflective of previous experience, working Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
