Logistics Internal Sales Executive Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Logistics Internal Sales Executive to join our client, a UK Freight and Logistics company based in North Yorkshire.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to drive business growth.
  • Generate and calculate freight quotations and tender documents to meet client needs.
  • Prepare and send sales correspondence to clients, ensuring timely and effective communication.
  • Conduct follow-up calls to ensure client satisfaction and maximize conversion rates.
  • Manage the sales process from initial contact to closure, ensuring seamless execution.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements and provide tailored solutions.
Requirements:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients.
  • Proven sales or customer service experience, with a track record of success in a similar role.
  • Familiarity with freight forwarding or export sales, with the ability to navigate complex logistics.
  • Strong analytical and numeracy skills, with the ability to calculate and submit quotes and tender submissions.
  • Experience in negotiating with clients and suppliers, with a focus on delivering value-added solutions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
