About the Role

We are seeking an experienced EMEA Engineering and Facilities Management Lead to join our team at CBRE Global Workplace Solutions. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality engineering and facilities management services to our clients across the EMEA region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Service Delivery: Develop and implement a comprehensive service delivery model that integrates technical engineering and facilities management to provide a unified property services solution.
  • Client Relationship Management: Act as the single point of contact for all engineering and facilities management services issues, developing positive relationships with clients and ensuring excellent service delivery.
  • Team Management: Manage on-site facilities management operation teams and engineering teams, including staffing, training, development, and performance management.
  • Contract Management: Manage contractual relationships with clients and vendors, ensuring compliance with agreed-upon KPIs and SLAs.
  • Financial Management: Develop and manage annual facility budgets, including direct and indirect contract service expenses, preventative maintenance costs, and project/capital items.
  • Incident Management: Respond to problems and concerns, implementing policy, rules, and regulations, and managing regional incident and escalation.
  • Performance Monitoring: Use data to drive performance monitoring, reporting, and improvement of the engineering team across the region.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with CBRE and client policies and procedures, including Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental (HSSE) standards.
Requirements
  • Technical Background: Strong technical background with proven experience in a similar role, preferably with a degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • Leadership Skills: Excellent client relationship and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively respond to complex inquiries, requests, or complaints.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to develop and deliver presentations to clients and stakeholders.
  • Financial Control: Strong financial control, with the ability to maintain costs within budget and manage contract service expenses.
  • Experience: A minimum of ten years post-training experience, five years of which in maintaining critical engineering environments, with relevant experience managing an engineering service delivery across multiple remote and culturally different locations.
  • Professional Membership: Member of an engineering-related professional institution, such as ASHRAE/CIBSE/IEE.
