Job Title: Senior Dynamic Simulation Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Dynamic Simulation Engineer to join our team at Genesis Oil and Gas Consultants. As a key member of our dynamic process simulation team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality work under the supervision of our lead engineers.

Your primary focus will be on leading dynamic simulation projects, performing duties with minimal supervision, and ensuring timely delivery within agreed schedules and budgets. You will be responsible for overseeing more junior engineers, guiding them in process simulations, analyzing results, and preparing reports.

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess a strong background in chemical engineering or a related field, with a proven track record of using HYSYS Dynamics and/or Unisim Dynamics, as well as PipeNet and/or Wanda or similar liquid surge (water hammer) programs. Experience with software coding, such as VB.Net/VBA, and relevant experience in the Oil and Gas Industry and/or Low Carbon Energy Transition projects will be highly valued.

As a Senior Dynamic Simulation Engineer, you will be part of a dynamic and proactive business that prioritizes environmental responsibility. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including compressor surge analysis, holistic simulation, control optimization & validation, process safety time analysis, liquid surge (water hammer) assessment, HIPPS response times, heat exchanger tube rupture, and more.
