Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior Process Simulation Expert to join our dynamic process simulation team. As a key member of our team, you will work on a variety of projects, including compressor surge analysis, holistic simulation, control optimization, and process safety time analysis. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality work under the supervision of our lead engineers and will have the opportunity to lead dynamic simulation projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver work under the supervision of our lead engineers
  • Lead dynamic process simulation studies with minimal supervision
  • Conduct a wide range of work, including compressor anti-surge control, process control systems liquid surge, HIPPS response, and heat exchanger tube rupture
  • Present work to clients through reports and presentations
  • Prepare technical notes, reports, and client presentations
  • Ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards and internal procedures
  • Understand client requirements and contribute to winning bids for work
  • Oversee junior engineers under your supervision
Requirements
  • Engineering degree in Chemical Engineering or a similar field
  • Chartered Engineer status with the Institution of Chemical Engineers or equivalent
  • Experience using HYSYS Dynamics and/or Unisim Dynamics, PipeNet, and/or Wanda
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Relevant experience in the Oil and Gas Industry and/or Low Carbon Energy Transition projects
  • Strong understanding of relevant industry codes and standards
