About the RoleThis is a full-time opportunity working 5 days a week within the school or college provision. You will work closely with students, teachers, and parents to ensure a seamless transition between school and home life.
Key Responsibilities- Support students with SLD in small groups or one-to-one basis to improve engagement, interaction, and attainment.
- Develop and implement strategies to promote social skills, independence, and emotional well-being.
- Collaborate with teachers to plan and deliver tailored educational programs.
- Communicate effectively with parents to share student progress and involve them in decision-making.
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- A passion for working with children with special needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities.
- Relevant qualifications or experience working with children with SLD.
The estimated salary for this role is £25,000-£30,000 per annum, depending on experience. You will also receive comprehensive training and ongoing support to help you succeed in your position.
