Job Summary

Comhairle nan Eilean Siar seeks a highly motivated and compassionate Social Care Worker to join our team at Goathill Campus, Isle of Lewis.

This rewarding role involves providing support and care to Adults with Support Needs, enabling them to live independently and achieve their goals.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality care and support to individuals, respecting their rights and dignity.
  • Contribute to the development of individualized care plans that prioritize inclusion, independence, and well-being.
  • Communicate effectively with service users, families, and colleagues to ensure seamless support and care.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to regulatory requirements.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • SVQ Level III in Care (or equivalent) or willingness to achieve it within 36 months.
  • Membership of the PVG Scheme for regulated work with adults.
