As a SEN / SEND Tutor, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality educational support to young people with Special Education Needs and Disabilities (SEND), Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH), Moderate and Severe Learning Difficulties (MLD / SLD), or other Additional Educational Needs.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable young people. As a SEN / SEND Tutor, you will work one-to-one with students, providing tailored support to help them overcome their challenges and achieve their full potential. You will be part of a dynamic and supportive team, working closely with our SEN / SEND Support Specialists to ensure that every student receives the best possible support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality educational support to young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and other Additional Educational Needs
  • Develop and implement individualized learning plans to meet the unique needs of each student
  • Work closely with our SEN / SEND Support Specialists to ensure seamless support and communication
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and provide regular feedback to parents and carers
Requirements
  • Professional Teaching Qualifications (Qualified Teacher Status / QTS / QTLS)
  • Minimum 2 years teaching experience
  • Experience working with young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and / or other Additional Educational Needs
  • Experience, knowledge and understanding of safeguarding processes
  • Enhanced DBS (we can help obtain this at cost if needed)
  • Two professional references
  • You must be based in the UK with the right to work in the UK, even for remote / online assignments
