About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and passionate Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Chartwells - Schools. As a key member of our culinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality food to our clients and customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes to meet the needs of our clients and customers
  • Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and surrounding areas
  • Assist with the loading and unloading of deliveries and supply vehicles
  • Represent Chartwells - Schools and maintain a positive brand image
  • Comply with Food Handling & Hygiene standards and Health & Safety regulations

Requirements

  • Demonstrate an ability to manage pressure, prioritise tasks and communicate effectively at all levels
  • Be an excellent team player with a committed and organised approach
  • Have a desire to succeed in your role and be flexible to work shifts
  • Demonstrate exceptional timekeeping and reliability
