Culinary Care Specialist at Plas Cae Crwn

Shaw healthcare is a highly valued provider of care, committed to delivering the highest standard of care to our service users. We are seeking a skilled Culinary Care Specialist to join our team at Plas Cae Crwn. As a Culinary Care Specialist, you will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and serving high-quality, home-cooked meals to our residents and others as required. You will work closely with our Home Manager, Nutritional Therapist, and staff to ensure that our residents receive a varied diet that caters to their cultural preferences. Your role will also involve establishing a rapport with our residents and their families to satisfy their dietary needs. Key responsibilities include:
* Preparing and serving meals in a timely manner
* Providing a varied diet that caters to the cultural preferences of our residents
* Catering for celebrations and other events in our Home
* Ordering supplies within the catering budget and company policy guidelines
* Maintaining accurate catering records in accordance with HACCP
* Participating in inspections by Environmental Health and/or care regulators and Local Authorities
* Maintaining a high standard of hygiene within the kitchen by adhering to HACCP and COSHH guidelines
* Assisting in the maintenance of a safe and healthy working environment by ensuring adherence to Health & Safety and Welfare
* Ability to manage the Catering Team
Salary: £12.10 per hour
Working Hours: Bank contract
