Job Opportunity: Welsh-Speaking Teaching Assistant Powys

We are seeking a Welsh-Speaking Teaching Assistant to support the education of children in Powys. The ideal candidate will be a fluent Welsh speaker with a passion for education and a strong ability to work as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist teachers in delivering lessons in Welsh and provide support to students who need extra help.
  • Support classroom management and lesson preparation, and encourage the use of the Welsh language throughout the school day.
  • Contribute to a positive learning environment and assist with general administrative tasks.

Requirements:

  • Fluency in Welsh is essential.
  • Previous experience in a teaching assistant role is desirable but not essential.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
