Kingswood, South Gloucestershire, United Kingdom Cera Care Full time

We are seeking compassionate and empathetic individuals to join our team as Home Care Companions in South Gloucestershire. As a Home Care Companion, you will play a vital role in supporting our clients to live independently in their own homes.

Our ideal candidate is someone who is kind, patient, and understanding, with excellent communication skills. You will work closely with our clients to understand their needs and preferences, providing personalized support and care that makes a real difference to their lives.

We offer a competitive salary of £16.35 per hour for bank holidays, plus enhanced holiday pay and pension scheme. In addition, we provide free DBS/PVG checks, company mobile phones, and uniforms.

We have flexible shift patterns available, including mornings, days, evenings, and nights, with every other weekend off for a healthy work-life balance. You must have a driving license and access to a vehicle for work, and be willing to undergo a DBS check and provide proof of right to work in the UK.

We value our employees' well-being and offer a range of benefits, including employee assistance programs, mental health first aiders, healthcare cash plans, and free eye tests and contributions towards glasses. You can also earn extra earnings through our referral scheme, Care Friends.

Your responsibilities may include assisting with personal care, managing medications, cooking or preparing hot meals, and helping with domestic tasks. However, your true impact lies in the companionship, reassurance, and joy you bring to the lives of those you care for.

We use technology to streamline administrative tasks, enhance outcomes, and empower our care teams to make informed decisions. Our predictive technology and risk alerts enable us to reduce hospitalizations and fall risks for our clients.

If you are looking for a rewarding role where you can make a real difference in people's lives, please apply today.
