About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and friendly Receptionist to join our team at Abbot Care Home in Harlow, Essex. As the first point of contact for visitors, you will provide a warm welcome and ensure that all visitors sign in and out. Your excellent communication skills and attention to detail will be essential in answering telephone calls, managing incoming and outgoing post, and maintaining a tidy reception area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a warm welcome to all visitors and ensure they sign in and out
  • Answer telephone calls and deliver messages in a timely manner
  • Manage incoming and outgoing post
  • Maintain a tidy reception area
  • Work closely with the Home Manager and Administrator to ensure the home is stocked with stationery
  • Record and report on daily and weekly updates as advised by the Home Manager
  • Promote the home, conduct show arounds, and support with recruitment of new team members

  • Good IT skills - Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Attention to detail
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing or reception role
