Job Description

We are recruiting for an experienced Team Manager to lead our Cared for Children's service in Tameside. The successful candidate will have responsibility for children who are cared for by the Local Authority under a Care Order, section 20 and separated migrants.

As an interim Team Manager, you will be responsible for line management and supervisory duties, including chairing meetings, personal and child supervision with Social Workers, staff development, risk identification and robust risk management.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience in managing a cared for children's team
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues

Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary of £45 per hour and a hybrid working arrangement with minimum 3 days per week in the office and a full week when the team is on duty.
