Children's Service Leadership Position

Ashberry Recruitment is seeking an experienced interim Team Manager to lead our children's service in Tameside, responsible for delivering high-quality services to vulnerable children and their families.
About the RoleThis leadership position involves managing a team of 7 professionals, including Social Workers and a Senior Practitioner, and requires excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to drive positive outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide strategic leadership and direction to the team, ensuring they are aligned with the company's goals and objectives
- Supervise and manage staff, ensuring they have the necessary resources and support to deliver exceptional services
- Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring the delivery of safe and effective services to children and families
- Develop and implement policies and procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
The role involves a hybrid working pattern, with a minimum of 3 days per week spent in the office and a full week when the team is on duty, balancing flexibility with the need for face-to-face interaction.
Requirements and SalaryApplicants should have significant experience in managing a cared for children's team and possess excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, enabling them to drive positive change and achieve exceptional results.
The estimated salary for this role is £45.00 per hour, reflecting the importance of the position and the expected level of expertise, as well as the company's commitment to rewarding high-quality candidates.
