Long-term contract opportunity for a skilled Project Scheduler to join our team at Morson Talent. As a Project Scheduler, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of projects within the Nuclear sector.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain accurate project schedules, including Budgeted Cost of Work Performed (BCWP) forecast data and critical path analysis.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure schedules are aligned with project requirements and company standards.
- Manage and report on schedule variances, providing recommendations for recovery and mitigation.
- Assess subcontractor programmes and provide recommendations for programme acceptance or rejection.
- Ensure all interdependencies between projects and programmes are identified and recorded.
- Administer the Magnox Risk Management Database and ensure schedule contingency and risk mitigation activities are incorporated into schedules.
- Monitor and report on work liquidation, performing quantity surveys and productivity analysis as required.
- Provide critical path analysis and near-critical path float analysis, highlighting deviations from approved baseline dates.
- Assist project managers in producing monthly performance reports and provide recovery planning assistance.
- Conduct Schedule Performance Index (SPI) and Schedule Variance (SV) analysis, providing narrative, recommendations, and recovery plans.
Requirements:
- Expert knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM) and schedule development.
- Experience working in the Nuclear sector or higher-regulated industries.
- Proficiency in Magnox processes and tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
