Care and Support Professional

Newcross Healthcare provides specialist clinical training and ongoing support to help you grow your career in the direction you choose. As a Mental Health Support Worker in Bideford, you will be part of a dedicated regional team using innovative technology to make your work more efficient.
The Job Description
Your role will involve delivering both clinical and social care, customised to the specific needs of each individual. You will provide vital support to children and adults experiencing mental health challenges, helping them navigate daily life with dignity and independence. This includes personal care and support, challenging behaviour support, crisis intervention, promoting independence, medication support, and specialist clinical care.
Requirements
To excel in this role, you should have:
- A minimum of 6 months of professional care experience or experience caring for a loved one in the UK
- The ability to comfortably assist clients with limited mobility
- The right to work in the UK
- Prior experience working with clients who have mental health challenges (preferred, but not essential as full training is provided)
- A valid driver's licence and reliable access to a personal vehicle
