About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our East Renfrewshire Integrated Learning Disability Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality psychological assessment and therapy services to individuals with learning disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver highly specialized psychological assessment and therapy services to individuals with learning disabilities.
  • Provide advice and consultation on clients' psychological care to non-psychologist colleagues and service providers.
  • Exercise full clinical responsibility for clients' psychological care and treatment.
  • Develop and deliver training programs for external providers and the LD team.
  • Contribute to academic research and participate in field supervision of trainee clinical psychologists.
  • Lead on specific service developments and undertake audits and quality improvement projects.
Requirements
  • Doctorate-level Clinical Psychologist with registration with the Health and Care Professions Council.
  • Experience of working with a wide variety of client groups and exercising full clinical responsibility for clients' psychological care and treatment.

Working Arrangements

This is a part-time position, working 26 hours per week. The shift pattern is between Monday and Friday, 9am-5pm. The salary is pro-rata for part-time hours.
