About the Job
We are seeking an experienced High-Speed Rail Management Specialist to join our team. As a key member of the project team, you will be responsible for delivering high-complexity construction works to safeguard utility assets along the HS2 route.
Responsibilities
- Project Management: Assist in the day-to-day project management of all utility works in the work area, assuming an operational management position as part of a team with responsibility for high-value supply chain delivery.
- Asset Protection: Manage the progression of actions required for the diversion, disconnection or protection of assets with statutory undertakers.
- Value Engineering: Actively pursue value engineering opportunities for the works within your sector, championing effective opportunities across the project.
- Safety and Quality: Maintain HS2 and SCS values across the works, reducing waste, emissions, and carbon.
Requirements
- Experience in Utility Projects: Experience in managing utility projects.
- Industry Expertise: Utility industry expertise, particularly gas or water.
- Degree Qualification: Degree qualified in a relevant engineering discipline.
Benefits
This role offers a competitive salary of £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, we offer a range of benefits, including flexible working hours and opportunities for professional development.
