Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior High Speed Rail Systems Infrastructure Manager to join our team. As a key member of our systems management team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our project control systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Head of Systems and Tools in developing and implementing a consistent systems lifecycle management approach across the function.
  • Manage the ongoing maintenance and support of project control systems to enable efficient performance reporting and analysis.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the general architecture and landscape of PMO systems and document interfaces with other HS2 systems and software tools.
  • Maintain clarity, robustness, and supportability of systems to ensure high levels of efficiency and ease of use.
  • Act as Design Authority for changes and document and manage any changes to in-scope systems.
  • Evaluate system onboarding and support processes and provide data, reports, and analysis to support problem resolution and root cause analysis.
  • Maintain authorised users and permissions, providing training to the relevant community as required.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of data systems architecture and enterprise data management principles.
  • Working knowledge of data management and analytical tools, cloud environments, and automation and productivity improvement tools.
  • Experience managing IT systems and technology in a major project/programme context.
  • Experience administering and supporting project control systems.
  • Ability to negotiate and prioritise to resolve conflicts among project and external stakeholders.

Salary Information

The estimated salary for this role is £43,750-£54,650 per annum, depending on skills and experience.
