Lead Designer for High Speed Rail Track Works

In this exciting role, you will have the opportunity to lead the design process for high-speed rail track works, ensuring compliance with European EN standards and local regulations. As the Lead Designer for High Speed Rail Track Works, you will manage a multidisciplinary design team across all engineering trades, including rail infrastructure, signalling, and telecommunications. This role involves coordinating and integrating designs with project stakeholders, including consultants, contractors, and government entities.
The Key Responsibilities of this position include leading the design process for high-speed rail track works, managing a multidisciplinary design team, coordinating and integrating designs with project stakeholders, overseeing the development and implementation of design strategies, providing technical leadership and expertise in high-speed rail systems, and ensuring all design activities adhere to safety, quality, and environmental standards. Regular reporting on design progress and challenges is also required.
Successful candidates will have a minimum 10 to 15 years of experience in rail and transportation sector, with at least 5 years in high-speed rail projects. Proven experience in managing complete turnkey projects is essential, as well as a strong background in high-speed track works design. Excellent knowledge of European EN standards related to high-speed railways and demonstrated ability to coordinate complex design processes among multiple project stakeholders are also necessary. Strong leadership skills with experience managing cross-disciplinary teams and a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a related field are highly valued.
