Electus Recruitment Solutions is seeking an experienced High Speed Rail Systems Engineer to join our team. This role offers a competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum.

As a High Speed Rail Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the process of undertaking system safety hazard identification and risk assessments, identifying safety measures and evidence of implementation, and associated management plans and reports. You will work closely with a small team to ensure that all teams undertake System Safety activities on work in line with HS2 statutory obligations under the Railway and Other Guided Systems Regulations (ROGS), the Common Safety Method on Risk Evaluation and Assessment (CSM-RA) and National Technical Specifications Notices (NTSNs).

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring that all work packages understand the relevant requirements and provide appropriate Validation and Verification that the requirements are met.
  • Leading the process of undertaking system safety hazard identification and risk assessments.
  • Identifying safety measures and evidence of implementation and associated management plans and reports.
