We are seeking an experienced IT Software Asset Manager to join our Software Asset Management centre of excellence. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in a large multi-year transformation programme, driving the organization's move to a cloud-centric operation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and optimize software assets to ensure compliance and drive efficiency across the organization.
  • Develop and implement effective asset management strategies to minimize risks and optimize software usage.
  • Lead a team of software asset management professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful delivery of business-as-usual services.
  • Collaborate with various departments to effectively communicate and negotiate with stakeholders to implement best practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest software licensing models, technologies, and tools to ensure the organization remains compliant and optimized.
Requirements
  • Strong leadership qualities to manage a team and share knowledge with colleagues.
  • In-depth knowledge and experience of software licensing models for large vendors, particularly IBM, Microsoft, and SAP.
  • Knowledge of legal matters pertaining to licensing, including copyrights, designs, and patents.
  • Experience of dealing with large vendor audits and complex license issues.
  • Proven innovative approach to complex license issues and a willingness to think outside the box.

  • A competitive salary of £70,000 - £90,000, dependent on experience.
