About the Role

NFU Mutual is seeking an IT Software Asset Manager to join our Software Asset Management centre of excellence. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in a large multi-year transformation programme, driving the organisation's move to a cloud-centric operation.

The ideal candidate will possess strong management and leadership skills, capable of overseeing the entire software asset lifecycle. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance, optimising software usage, and managing vendor relationships. Your ability to lead a team, implement effective asset management strategies, and drive continuous improvement will be crucial to our success.

About You

We are looking for an IT Software Asset Manager with exceptional communication, resilience, influence, organisational, and teamwork skills. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and optimising our software assets, ensuring compliance, and driving efficiency across the organisation. You will work closely with various departments, effectively communicating and negotiating with stakeholders to implement best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and optimise software assets to ensure compliance and drive efficiency
  • Lead a team to deliver on all aspects of the business-as-usual service
  • Implement effective asset management strategies to drive continuous improvement
  • Manage vendor relationships to ensure compliance and optimise software usage
