Liaison Nurse for Vulnerable Children

Sheffield Children's NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Paediatric Liaison Nurse to join our team. As a key member of the 0-19 Service, Paediatric Liaison Nursing Team, you will play a critical role in promoting family-centred assessment, early identification, and intervention for vulnerable children, young people, and families in Sheffield and across the region.

Your extensive experience working with families, safeguarding children, and domestic abuse/substance misuse/mental health issues will enable you to effectively collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes for children and their families. Your exceptional communication skills, combined with your knowledge of child development and safeguarding legislation, will facilitate effective communication between acute trusts, community services, and families.

This part-time position (5 hours per week, Tuesday to Thursday, office hours) offers a great work-life balance while still providing opportunities for professional growth and development.
